Chance for heavy rainfall for Father’s Day
By Sean Kennedy,
2026-06-20After a great start to Father’s Day weekend in the Quad Cities with sunshine and warm weather near the 80s, tomorrow is looking to change that.
Temperatures are expected to drop to the 60s for your highs on your Father’s Day Sunday with showers and storms throughout the day, some showers potentially heavy.
Our Excessive rain outlook, which tracks the flood risk of potential rainfall is showing a slight risk of heavy rainfall for tomorrow.
Our multiple rain models are forecasting that we could receive up to 2 inches of rain from these storms tomorrow, so be on the lookout and stay away from any potential flooded areas.
