Arconic matching donations to Hog Capital Wildlife Rescue

Arconic encourages the community to help support Hog Capital Wildlife Rescue and Rehab during the final week of a special matching gift campaign.
Arconic has pledged to match donations made to Hog Capital Wildlife Rescue and Rehab dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. So far, $1,635 in donations have been received, with thousands of dollars in matching funds still available. Donations will be accepted for matching until the end of the day on Friday, August 7.
Hog Capital Wildlife Rescue and Rehab has been a crucial partner to Arconic’s Eagle Cam program, playing an important role in supporting the welfare of Davenport Works’ resident bald eagles, Liberty and Justice. The organization provided expertise and guidance after the unexpected collapse of the nest occupied by eaglets Artemis and Apollo earlier this summer.
“For many people across the Quad Cities and beyond, Liberty and Justice have become more than just eagles. They’ve become part of our community,” said Jeff Weida, VP of Manufacturing Davenport Works & Satellites. “Hog Capital has been an incredible partner in helping protect and monitor wildlife, and we’re hopeful the community will help us maximize this matching opportunity.”
Arconic’s Eagle Cam has allowed millions of viewers to follow the lives of Liberty and Justice from their nest overlooking the Mississippi River since 2009. The project has become one of the company’s most visible community engagement initiatives. Arconic will match donations made during the final week of the campaign until the $5,000 commitment is reached.

Kelsi Jordan Krum has been missing from Arcadia, Florida (DeSoto County), since August 11, 1994, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Her mother, Kelli Jo Krum (pictured below), also disappeared. Kelsi would now be 32 years old, and her mother would be 53.
