20th Mutt Strut planned for Camden Park during Milan Harvest Festival

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center will hold the 20th Annual Mutt Strut from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Camden Park in Milan during the Milan Harvest Festival, according to a news release. Register here.

Chief Meteorologist Andy McCray from Our Quad Cities News will be the master of ceremonies.

Your registration includes an afternoon for the family including a casual half-mile dog walk, games, shopping, refreshments, giveaways, and the opportunity to meet fellow animal lovers while supporting the lifesaving work of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center. Vendors and community partners will include:

Bring a bag of cat or dog food to donate to the Quad-City Animal Welfare Center and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $100 Petco gift card.

Every registration helps provide shelter, medical care, food, enrichment, “and hope for the thousands of animals who rely on the Quad City Animal Welfare Center each year,” the release says. Registration helps the staff prepare participant packets, goodie bags, and event materials.
