Golf comic T.P. Mulrooney to appear at Eagle Ridge, Galena

Golf fans are invited to enjoy an evening of laughs when nationally recognized golf comedian T.P. Mulrooney performs at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa on Saturday, Aug. 22.

The show begins at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:15 p.m., at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, 444 Eagle Ridge Drive in Galena. Tickets are $40 per person, and a cash bar will be available.

Known as “The Golf Comic,” Mulrooney has built a national following by blending stand-up comedy with the unique experiences, quirks and traditions of the game of golf. His performances have entertained audiences at PGA events, country clubs and charity golf outings across the country.

Mulrooney began his comedy career performing in clubs throughout Washington, D.C., and New York while attending the University of Maryland. His work has been featured on Showtime, HBO, Comedy Central and The Golf Channel, and he has earned recognition for his observational comedy style before ultimately combining his passion for comedy with his love of golf.

The event offers golfers and comedy fans alike a unique opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment at one of the Midwest’s premier golf destinations.
