4 the Record WEB EXTRA: Iowa Congressional candidate Bohannan’s position on Israel

21 hours agoWe ran out of time and couldn’t bring you all of my conversation with Iowa congressional candidate Christina Bohannan. We pick it up with the Democratic party’s changing position regarding a long standing ally of the United States in the Middle East.
It seems the Democratic party is weakening its support for Israel, if not abandoning it because of the war against Hamas. Democrats are voting to stop selling weapons to Israel. Host Jim Niedelman got into the issues with Christina Bohannan.
“A lot of this violence has gone too far,” Bohannan said. “We have to make sure that Israel can defend itself and make sure we do not have a nuclear Iran.”
