A fairly nice start to our Wednesday morning but not looking to stay that way for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

We are looking at the chance for some showers and potential thunderstorms South of interstate 80 with a few showers in the metro QCA.

We are also seeing the possibility of a few more showers by the end of the week on Friday before things clear out for the weekend.

A Salmonella Recall Now Reaches Walmart, Target, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods

A widening food recall connected to a multistate Salmonella outbreak now covers dips, salsas, guacamole and prepared meals sold by some of America's largest grocery chains. Taylor Fresh Foods announced the voluntary recall on Aug. 9 after learning that jalapeno supplier Coast Citrus Distributors was recalling peppers because of possible Salmonella contamination. The affected jalapenos came from a grower in Sinaloa, Mexico, identified as the likely source of an ongoing outbreak.
