Sprint Invaders will come to West Liberty

Labor Day Weekend will go fast at West Liberty Raceway. On Saturday, Sept. 5, the winged warriors of the Sprint Invaders will come to town to race on the big half-mile track.

In addition to the Sprint Invaders, other classes racing will be the West Liberty Auto Parts IMCA Modifieds, the Aupp Automotive IMCA SportMods, the Brothers Towing/DeVore Towing/Brother’s Towing Street Stocks, and the Midwest Jalopies.

The Sprint Invaders have competed at West Liberty six times. They last raced here in 2023, when Tasker Phillips took the win.

The pit gate will open at 3:30 p.m. The grandstand opens at 4 p.m. A drivers meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m, and racing afterward. Grandstand admission for adults is $25; kids 5-10 are $10; children 4 and under free with a paid adult; pit passes are $35.
