Bettendorf’s Caden Buhr listed as starting kicker for Iowa

It's game week for Iowa football. The Hawkeyes take on Northern Illinois on Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

Monday, the Hawkeyes released its initial depth chart. Well, kind of.

There is still no starting quarterback listed. It's either Hank Brown OR Jeremy Hecklinski.

Cael Winter is the starting center, while Kade Pieper starts at right guard.

Notably, Bettendorf's Caden Buhr gets the nod as the starting kicker.

"(Caden has) a very strong leg, and someone who is very focused on not only his technique but his finish," said Chris Polizzi, Iowa's special teams coordinator. "As a local guy, I know it means a lot to him to be in this program and really excited about him and his opportunities."
