Trinity Health Foundation recently received a $35,000 donation from the Pinnacle Country Club Rally for Breast Cancer to support breast cancer screenings and diagnostic services access for people in need. This is the largest donation the event has made to date. Funds were raised through Pinnacle Country Club’s annual golf outing fundraiser, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and exceeded its fundraising goal of $30,000.

“For 30 years, the Rally for Breast Cancer fundraiser has made a meaningful difference in the lives of people throughout our community,” said Colleen Rafferty, interim president of Trinity Health Foundation. “Every dollar raised helps connect individuals with breast screenings and diagnostic services they might otherwise go without. We are grateful for the committee's dedication and for everyone who supports this event, helping ensure more Quad Citians have access to early detection and care.”

Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Trinity Health Foundation Breast Screening Fund, which helps provide mammograms and other vital diagnostic tests for people who may not otherwise be able to afford them. The Trinity Health Foundation Breast Screening Fund has helped support hundreds of individuals with screenings and testing since 2018.

"The Pinnacle Country Club committee is incredibly proud of the progress we've made since our inaugural Rally for Breast Cancer,” said Karen Bosso, co-chairperson of the Pinnacle Rally for Breast Cancer event. “This event has had a profound impact on many of us at Pinnacle. We are delighted to partner with Trinity Health Foundation and thrilled that all the funds raised remain in the Quad Cities."
