Alison Krauss cancels tour, which included QCA, because of health concerns

A popular singer-songwriter has canceled her appearance that was scheduled for Friday at The Adler Theatre, Davenport, according to a Facebook post from The Adler:

“It is with great regret that Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced the cancellation of our upcoming tour dates," the post says. "After consulting with medical professionals, Alison has been advised to take a period of vocal rest to ensure a full and healthy recovery."

The Alison Kraus Facebook page says "This decision was not made lightly as we are deeply committed to our fans. However, prioritizing our health and vocal integrity is imperative at this time."
