UnityPoint Health names Shari King as QC market president

UnityPoint Health has announced that Shari King has been named Quad Cities market president, effective Sept. 6, according to a news release.

King has served in the role on an interim basis and brings strong operational experience, a
relationship-oriented approach and a steady commitment to the team members, providers,
patients and communities served across the Quad Cities market.

“Shari brings the operational focus and steady leadership needed to strengthen the Quad Cities
market for the future,” said Jenni Friedly, chief operating officer, UnityPoint Health. “Her experience will help us further improve performance and financial sustainability in ways that
directly support patients — expanding access, strengthening coordination and ensuring people
continue to receive safe, high-quality care close to home.”

In this role, King will continue advancing UnityPoint Health’s commitment to the Quad Cities by
working with local leaders, providers and community partners to strengthen collaboration and
develop partnerships that will improve health and wellbeing across the region.
