Revival, ‘Jesus Walk,’ planned for Muscatine

The ELIM Arrival, the evangelical outreach branch of The Well of Iowa, will host a regional revival and worship night in Muscatine at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, in Riverside Park near the Harbor Shelter. The event is free and open to the public.

Riverside Park will remain fully open to the public throughout the event. Only a small portion of the parking area on Harbor Drive, upriver of the Cedar Street entrance, will be reserved for event staff and food trucks. All other park amenities, trails, and general parking areas will remain accessible.

Before the worship night, ELIM Arrival will hold a “Jesus March” at 3 p.m. beginning at the Muscatine County Courthouse, moving through downtown Muscatine, and ending inside Riverside Park. The march will take place on sidewalks only and will not interfere with vehicular traffic.

Drawing its inspiration from the biblical oasis of Elim — a place of refreshing and rest in the book of Exodus — The ELIM Arrival’s mission is to spark spiritual revival across the Heartland. Led by missionaries Pastor Ajai and Maureena Prakash, the event aims to bring the community together for an evening of focused prayer, worship, and spiritual renewal.
