The Third Place QC sets for move to help more people
By Brian Weckerly,
1 days agoA Quad-City nonprofit is preparing for a big move, one that could help it reach more people in need across the QCA.
The Third Place QC provides shelter and resources to people experiencing homelessness across our area. It's now getting ready to move into a new space in Rock Island as they celebrate their first anniversary. The organization is set to move from its downtown location to Abbey Station on 5th Ave.
Owners of The Third Place QC tell Our Quad Cities News that the move should take place by December. The organization is waiting on the city to approve their social service license.
