See I-80 bridge design at public meeting in LeClaire City Hall

After more than five years of planning, engineering, environmental review and community input, the I-80 Mississippi River Bridge project has advanced into final design, a news release says.

The Illinois Department of Transportation and Iowa Department of Transportation invite you to see the selected alternative take shape and get an inside look at what comes next. An open house public meeting will be 3-6 p .m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at LeClaire City Hall, 325 Wisconsin St., LeClaire.

Attendees can explore the bridge design, meet the project and land acquisition team, see project displays, learn about protecting endangered species, and hear what's next as the project moves toward construction-ready design.
