Find autumn fun at Aledo Fall Fest, Mercer County Art Gala

20 hours agoAledo is ready for autumn with fall festivals that have fun for everyone.
"Downtown Aledo is a defining feature of our community, and autumn brings a special warmth to our streets and local businesses," said Chris Hagloch, Mayor of Aledo. "Whether you are coming to catch live music, shop our unique boutiques, or enjoy farm-fresh fall traditions with your family, Aledo offers a welcoming space for everyone to connect."
The Mercer County Art Gala takes place on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Aledo Opera House, 108 S. Second Avenue. The gala showcases fine art by local and regional artists, offering an evening of cultural appreciation. Click here to RSVP for free admission or to buy mezzanine tickets.
Aledo Fall Fest & Fergtoberfest takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17 in downtown Aledo. The day-long downtown festival brings German Oktoberfest food, family activities, local vendors and live entertainment to the heart of the city. The schedule for the event includes:
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Family games, art, craft vendors, autumn food and the Alley Art chalk art event
- 1 p.m.: Volleyball tournament hosted by the YMCA
- 2 – 5 p.m.: Live music at Ferg’s Public House, with local artist T. Magee
- 6 – 10 p.m.: Evening music and festive gathering, featuring The Clintstones performing live
