I wanted to find out where Walmart's beef comes from, so I visited a Walmart store in Oregon to see what information I could find in the beef department and the packaging. Earlier this week, I published an article on NewsBreak sharing about where Kroger has been sourcing its beef from - Where Kroger Is Getting Its Beef From Right Now - Here's What to Know. I have been wondering where other grocery stores are sourcing their meat from as well. So I went into a Walmart store in Oregon this morning to see what I could find.

Lining Your Oven With Foil Could Cost You Your Life, Experts Warn

A sheet of aluminum foil on the oven floor might seem like an easy way to catch bubbling cheese, pie filling and other spills. But appliance manufacturers warn that this cleanup shortcut can create a fire hazard -- and, in a gas oven, a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

This Clears Up a Stuffy Nose Almost Instantly—No Sudafed Needed

A stuffy nose can make everything miserable, especially trying to sleep, and I got tired of reaching for Sudafed every time congestion hit. Eucalyptus and peppermint have this way of opening things up almost immediately when you breathe them in, and steam does the rest. This has become my go to the second congestion sets in. 😊

5 Foods You Should Never Wash Before Cooking, According to USDA

Washing food usually sounds like a sensible safety step. But when certain raw foods are placed under a running faucet, that rinse can make your kitchen less safe -- not more. Water does not reliably remove the harmful bacteria that may be present on raw animal products. Instead, droplets can carry those germs into the sink, onto countertops and utensils, and even onto nearby food.

The Biggest Mistake People Make When Cooking Cabbage

If the thought of overcooked smelly cabbage has you running out of the kitchen, then give these methods for cooking cabbage a try. I find the biggest problem people run into when cooking cabbage happens when they cook it too long. Cabbage doesn't really need that long to cook. What happens when you cook it for a while is that it becomes slimy and smells up the whole house.

This Root Was Used for Low Energy Before Energy Drinks Existed

Ginseng has been used for centuries as an energy tonic, long before energy drinks and their jittery caffeine crash ever existed. It's earned the nickname "King of Herbs" in traditional Chinese medicine, and modern research has actually backed up much of what traditional herbalists have known all along. I keep it on hand for those genuinely draining, low-energy weeks. 😊

There's a reason old Southern cooks called these "Bride's Biscuits." They're nearly impossible to mess up, even for someone who's never made bread before. Angel biscuits are a cross between a classic buttermilk biscuit and a soft yeast roll. Adding yeast alongside the usual baking powder and baking soda makes them taller, lighter, and almost foolproof compared to a regular biscuit.

Tiffany Trump: The Apple That Didn't Fall Far From The Tree

I think we all know that there is something very off about the Trump dynasty, that sprawling American tragedy dressed up in Brioni suits and spray tans, where each act reveals fresh horrors that somehow manage to surpass the last. Donald Trump himself is a menacing wonder to behold on so many levels, a figure so cartoonishly malevolent that fiction writers would reject him as too implausible. Normally, one would argue that dragging politicians' children into the spotlight crosses an ethical line, after all, most didn't choose the glare of public scrutiny. But the Trump offspring? They don't just seek the spotlight; they sprint toward it with the desperation of moths to a flame.

Moose Farts Are the No-Bake Treat Everyone Talks About

Moose Farts get laughs from the name, but the flavor is what keeps people returning to the plate. These Canadian-inspired no-bake bites combine chocolate, coconut, graham crumbs, and creamy sweetness in a soft, rich little treat. Each ball is small enough to eat in a few bites but packed with enough texture and flavor to satisfy a serious dessert craving. Because there is no oven involved, they come together easily and remain a practical option when the kitchen is already busy or the weather is too warm for baking.
