Integrity Urgent Care Opens In Murphy As Collin County Health Care Needs Expand

C ollin County's rapid growth isn't only reshaping where people live and work; it's also increasing the need for healthcare closer to home. Hospitals, clinics and other providers have been expanding across the county, and now that growth is reaching southeastern Collin County with a new urgent care option in Murphy. Integrity Urgent Care opened its newest clinic on Aug. 3 at 211 E. FM 544, Suite 401, serving Murphy and surrounding communities including Parker, Plano, Richardson and Wylie. The clinic offers walk-in and virtual care for common illnesses and minor injuries, along with extended evening and weekend hours. The opening comes as healthcare providers across Collin County continue investing in new facilities and services to accommodate one of the fastest-growing populations in the country. Health Care Is Following Collin County's Growth Collin County's population has climbed rapidly over the past decade. As previously reported by Local Profile , the county reached approximately 1.2 million residents in 2024, adding more than 46,000 people in a single year. That population growth is already influencing major healthcare investments. Taylor Fresh Foods announced the voluntary recall on Aug. 9 after learning that jalapeno supplier Coast Citrus Distributors was recalling peppers because of possible Salmonella contamination. The affected jalapenos came from a grower in Sinaloa, Mexico, identified as the likely source of an ongoing outbreak.
